China Iron Ore Imports Fall 24% in May
The statistical data released by the General Administration of Customs on June 10 showed that China imports of iron ore realized 50 million, with a decline of 24 percent compared with a year earlier. In the first five months of this year, China iron ore imports totaled 260 million tons, with an increase of 8.4 percent year on year. From January to May, China’s import average price of iron ore was USD 106 per ton, with a rise of 36.6 percent year on year.
