Reports on China’s Steel Im&Exports in First Five Months  

In the first five months this year, China has exported 17.962 million tons of steel, with a large increase of 1.3 times compared with a year earlier and realized the export value of USD 13.97 billion, with a rise of 58 percent year on year. The average export price reached USD 777 per ton.
In the same period, China’s steel imports realized total volume of 6.968 million tons with the import value of USD 8.12 billion, respectively up 7.2 percent and 7.4 percent year on year.
