China Nov copper import hits 351,597 mtn
World’s largest copper producer China said its import of unwrought and copper products rose 21 percent in November to 351,597 metric tons.
According to country’s General Administration of Customs, it was 290,158 metric tons in Nov last year.
In the first eleven months of this year, the country's imports of unwrought and copper products climbed 0.7% year on year to 3.95 million metric tons.
About one third of China's copper imports come from Chile, the world's largest copper exporter.
In the first ten months of this year, China's refined copper output rose 12.5% year on year to 3.92 million metric tons, according to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics earlier.
