Review of Development on Cement Industry in Shanxi  

With the advance of the western development strategy, in Shanxi  Province are gradually realizing the vision of a western economic powerhouse province. During "11th Five-Year Plan" period, Shaanxi  Province will strive for eliminating bottlenecks of water and traffic, overcome system barriers, optimizing the economic structure, and implement 10 projects to invest 600 billion yuan.  

Currently, Shaanxi Province launched a climax of the water conservancy construction, the priority is to build  a number of water projects including "two primers eight", do a good job in restructuring Irrigation works, speed up the management of the Weihe River. The first quarter of this year, investment in water infrastructure has reached 25 billion. And investment in highway construction reached surely over 22 billion yuan. At the end of July, Shaanxi  Province completed exceeded 114 billion yuan of fixed assets investment in urban areas, an increase of 39.3%. In addition, the government relocates to the north in Xi'an , some projects including Xi'an MTR second line will be activated.  

Shaanxi province's rapid economic development and start of major projects bring enormous business opportunities in the cement-manufacturing industry, the situation of the cement operations has improved this year, working people in the industry said: during "11th Five-Year Plan" cement industry is in rising stage in Shaanxi .  

At present, Shaanxi formed three large enterprises pattern. 4,000 t/d production line in Jidong ,Baoji Fufeng , second production line of 5,000 Tons is in construction in Jingyang  reserves which nearly 300 million tons will be put into operation in April next year.  
Except Jidong, the local old enterprise Qinling Cement Group has three production lines of 2,000 t/d, 2500 t/d, 5000 t/d in Tongchuan. Another large-scale enterprise Zhejiang Shengwei Group in Tongchuan building a 5,000 t/d production lines, build two 2,500 t/d production lines in Xianyang, one of which has been in operation, the second of which are under construction, is expected to be completed this year.  

Germany Heidelberg, has become shareholders in Jidong, it is said that Qinling Cement also intended to attract foreign investment; the three companies have been submitted to national supported key cement-manufacturing enterprises, waiting for re-examinations.
